We can all pretty much say that the country is already on a rebound after the great real estate crash of 2008. Though it is true that some things still have room to get better, we can see that there are already signs of a healthy rebounding market.
Some may doubt the last statement. After all, there's still an increasing number of foreclosures, job creation is still below expectations, while unemployment rates are still near a record high. Despite all of these hindrances, one major factor for saying that the market is on a rebound are the improving real estate prices, which have successfully protected many people's assets from further depreciation. So among all of the cities in the US, which do you think is leading the pack in real estate recovery? Definitely not Detroit, which probably has some of the cheapest properties nationwide (imagine purchasing a lot for $1). Detroit has been on a terminal decline, which has started decades ago. No, it's actually the city of Denver, if we're going to believe a recent 'Today' show list. Real estate expert Barbara Corcoran said that the city is definitely on a rebound after some decline during the previous year. The city has a vibrant downtown, a solid and educated employee base, and a very large park system. All of these factors contributed to increased business activity in the area and, hence, improving real estate prices. Other cities that made it to Corcoran's list are Raleigh, NC; Austin, TX; Seattle; and San Francisco. Among the factors that Corcoran included in to determine the final list are job growth potential, growing population, the number of first-time buyers, good weather, the absence of over-construction, a well-educated population, and foreclosures earlier than in other cities. Good job, Denver. You are now at the forefront of a rebounding United States. It's now an exciting time to invest in Denver's real estate market because you're sure that you're going to make something out of your investments in the coming years. You can talk about...
